PKA Teams Speed Walk to a Healthy Finish at the Corporate Cup Challenge
They walked with style—and speed.
Paul Kaza Associates entered two walking teams in the 24th Annual Vermont Corporate Cup Challenge and State Agency Race held recently in Montpelier, and both teams finished with impressive times.
Aptly named the “Walkie Talkies” for their gift-for-gab while speed walking, the team of Nancy Kaza, Mary Precourt, and Brianne Towne finished in second place out of 50 female corporate teams. Out of 243 total teams, they placed in the top 7%.
The team of Donda Thibault, Laura McKenna, and Greg Gomez finished in 10th place out of 35 mixed corporate teams. Proudly displaying their “iTrod Podders” t-shirts and iPod headsets, the team finished in the top 15% of the 243 total teams.
The Corporate Cup Challenge is sponsored by the Vermont Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. “We’re committed to fitness—and also fun,” said Paul Kaza, President & Creative Director, adding that he would participate only if they allowed bicycles.
