PKA developed comprehensive press kits for the Vermont Department of Tourism & Marketing. Upon completion, PKA mailed the press kits to a targeted list of top travel writers, each with a story pitch individually developed for that writer based on their interest. Marian Burros, Food Writer at The New York Times responded with a request for further information on a travel feature focusing on the Island and Northwestern region of Vermont. PKA made press trip arrangements for Marian and worked with her to research and develop story angles resulting in a full page feature which ran in The New York Times.
